Look for a container where you only fill it to less than half. This will help keep it from overflowing as it rises.

There should be a few fingers of free space between the batter and the rim of the container.

To get started making this recipe, you’ll first want to gather all your ingredients first.

  • Angel Food Cake mix
  • Chocolate cake mix
  • Reduced fat Cool Whip

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Combine angel food cake mix and chocolate cake mix into one large container.

Step 2: Place tablespoons of the cake mix into a mug or ramekin.

Step 3: Add water and mix.

Step 4: As a bonus, drop a Lindor chocolate into the mix.

Step 5: Pop into the microwave for 45 seconds.

Step 6: Top the fluffy cake with your favorite whip. Cool whip or Reddi whip are two of my favorites.

  1. Combine Angel food cake and chocolate cake mixes into one mixture in a container.
  2. Place 3 tablespoons of the mixture in a microwave-safe mug or ramekin.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of water to the cake mix. Stir.
  4. Add a Lindt chocolate to the middle of the cake batter mixture.
  5. Microwave for 45 seconds.
  6. Top with Cool Whip or Reddi Whip whipped cream.
