10 minute jump rope workout for beginners
There are so many different ways to get your cardio in. I pull out my jump rope when I don’t feel like going to the gym.

A jump rope is easy and portable. For me, it just means going outside my apartment building, setting up my phone with an interval app and adding a little music to get me through.
If you don’t have a lot of time, you can still get in an effective workout. You can be a beginner or advanced jumper.
If you didn’t know, this is an amazing way to fit in some cardio but also get a full-body workout in. Jump roping may look like it’s all in the arms but it can take some practice to nail down the right form.
You can just jump steady or you can do an interval-style workout. An interval or HIIT workout can incorporate several different exercises to help you burn calories and keep things interesting.
