Best personal growth podcasts
Do you ever find yourself looking for something new to listen to or something different than usual? Have you tried podcasts? Lately, I have been listening to more and more around a variety of topics. Here are some of the best personal growth podcasts I am listening to now. These tend to be a little more about expanding yourself mentally, emotionally and culturally.
Best personal growth podcasts
The Stoop: It dives into stories we aren’t often open about for one reason or another. Take a listen to fun and frank conversations about black identity in America.
The Nod: It’s a conversation between two friends about black life and all its complexities.
On One with Angela Rye: The podcast focuses on politics and current events, through the lens of pop culture. Her guests have included Congresswoman Maxine Waters, White House Correspondent April Ryan and Charlottesville Vice Mayor Wes Bellamy.
Code Switch: Conversations that explore how race and culture collide with everything else in our lives. NPR brings us another avenue to think about or hear topics in a different fashion.
Grammar Girl Quick and Dirty Tips: Grammar Girl provides short, friendly tips to improve your writing. Whether English is your first language or your second language, these grammar, punctuation, style and business tips will make you a better and more successful writer. This is truly one of my favorite because I learn something new each and every time I listen to a podcast.
The Chopped Podcast: Strategies to take your food blog to the next level. I am not a food blogger, but the strategies and conversations are applicable to help you grow your presence.
Side Hustle Pro: The podcast teaches you how to build and grow a side hustle from passion project to a profitable business. New episodes are far and few between lately, but when there is a new one it is worth a listen.
Tiny Desk Concerts (video): Tiny Desk Concerts from NPR’s All Songs Considered features your favorite musicians performing at Bob Boilen’s desk in the NPR Music office. I’ve been exposed to artists I would have never listened to without the video podcast/mini concert.
So these are just a few of the podcasts I listen to and I really think everyone can find at least one of them fun and entertaining!
