Smooth creamy almond butter

Add almond butter to a bowl. If not creamy enough, pop in microwave for 30 seconds to melt.

Add wet ingredients

Add in remaining wet ingredients: maple syrup, almond milk and vanilla. Mix and combine.

Add dry ingredients

Add dry ingredients: oatmeal, flax seed, cocoa powder and baking powder

Mix ingredients

Mix the dry and wet ingredients until blended well.

Chocolate chips

Fold the chocolate chips into the mix.

Prepare to bake

Pour into a greased dish or a parchment iined baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

Cool and serve

Cool. Cut and serve for breakfast or snack.  Add some whipped cream and serve for a snack or dessert.
