I recently received my Kristal Bikinis posing bikini and she is a beauty. She also is teeny tiny.
I will be wearing her throughout competition prep for check-in photos and videos instead of wearing my competition bikini.
The last year or so I wore my suit in each of the photos or a swimsuit. It wasn’t always the same week to week. This posing bikini will allow me to wear the same thing and take note of what changes are happening week to week.
There are benefits to wearing a posing instead of your blinged out bikini during prep:
- the bikini top and bottom are adjustable
- competition bikini can suffer some wear and tear depending on how long your prep lasts
- if you’re still looking to lose weight before your competition, you may be putting extra strain on the bikini, particularly the connectors
- you are wearing the same thing to photograph and video your progress
Slow and steady
The plan is to take it slow and steady. There is no need to rush this prep season.
I have pushed for a date because I felt that I wanted to get on stage. The desire to get on stage is there. However, I want the best physique I can bring to the stage this year.
So, I have an idea of when and where I want to get on stage for the first time this year. It’s a new location for me and I am looking forward to pushing to reach it. The goal is to have my body and mind right before my toe hits the stage this summer.
What will the entire season look like? Not sure about that one. I have an idea about that too but it all depends on how we do when we kick off the season. I will let that dictate the rest of the season.
New meal plan
I have been on my new meal plan for a few weeks now.
When I opened up my email with it, I had a little excitement yet hesitation. Seriously!
Yes, I have been down this road before but that does not mean that it makes it any easier than the last go round. Actually I think it makes it a little harder. I know what to expect in the overall sense.
This morning we did a weight and measurement check. I had to stand on the scale and almost had a cardiac arrest. Why? Because it isn’t moving in the direction I want number wise. However, when we did the rest of the measurements my body fat is going down. So I guess all in all things are going well. My goal is to keep doing what I am doing and increasing my water. The food part is relatively easy because I make it tasty. The water is where I can always improve and increase.
