Today’s post is all about looking good in the gym (or wherever you work out) while sticking to a budget.
I love activewear, but let’s be honest, some of it can be a little pricey. But it is possible to find quality, inexpensive workout clothes if you are on a budget.
It can be easy to believe we have to spend a fortune to look good at the gym. Luckily that couldn’t be further from the truth. There are plenty of options that won’t break your bank.
If you don’t have much to spend, focus on a few items in compatible colors so you can mix and match. Then when you add a new piece, you can mix up your entire workout outfit.
Here are seven budget-friendly places to shop.
I’m also a fan of the compression leggings, which come in a variety of colors and patterns.
C9 Champion at Target. Great quality with more classic cut items. They have a wide range of sizing from XS-4X.
TJMaxx is one of my favorite stores to walk into. They have women and men’s activewear. It’s hard to buy just one thing when you walk in the store.
You can find name brand apparel including Reebok, Saucony, Champion, RBX and more. There are always great deals in their sale area.
Reebok has clothing and shoes for sports and the fitness fanatic. Reebok is the official apparel partner for Cross Fit, Spartan Race and more.
Marshall’s is owned by the same company as TJ Maxx, and they’re a similar place to find workout gear for less. Depending on your local Marshalls, the fitness section can be a couple of racks or a few aisles.
I have found that if you take the time to look you can find some name-brand pieces including Reebok and Under Armour on their racks.
You can find a good deal on the adidas website if you take a few minutes to look to see what they have. Don’t discount them for stylish and affordable workout apparel.
You also can shop for different sports including football, soccer, running and basketball.
Don’t knock it until you have checked out their pieces. Forever 21 has a wide range of tops. leggings, sports bras and more that can be mixed and matched. Most of their items are less than $20 each.
