24 family fall activities to keep you busy (free checklist)
Can you believe that the fall is upon us already? Kids are back to school in person and the temperatures are beginning to cool off.
Most people think pumpkins and apples are when it comes to fall. However, there are so many things that you can do during the fall season and I have a full list of things for you included on this printable checklist.
Go to a fall fair
Your area and the surrounding areas are more popping than you think. There are tons of events going on like harvest festivals, beer festivals and even fun events at the zoo.
Go pumpkin picking
This is hands down my most favorite fall activity. Nothing says it’s fall like going to the local pumpkin patch and picking out the best ones for decorating and carving. A lot of pumpkin patches will also have corn mazes so look out for those.
Have a fall photoshoot
Take full advantage of the beautiful weather and have a photoshoot. You can do it on your own with a tripod and your phone. Or you can hire a photographer.

Go apple picking at an orchard
Apple picking at an orchard is a typical fall thing to do. It can be a lot of fun as a family or with some friends. Colors can range from dark green to orange, bright pink and even a combination depending on the variety.
Make sure to ask the farmer at the orchard to tell you what the characteristics of the different varieties are, then you can decide what to do with them. Maybe bake an apple pie for yourself or a friend.
